IPL spot-fixing case: Supreme court hearing on Mudgal report today

the Supreme Court on Friday will be hearing on the report filed by Justice Mudgal Committee, which had been assigned to carry out a probe in IPL 6 spot-fixing case.
Earlier, on Monday the apex court had said that it will go through the report and also examine whether it could be made public or parts of it could be withheld.
However, petitioner Amit Verma has called for the report to be made public in the interest of the sport. The Mudgal committee submitted the final report on November 3, and the document reportedly seems to have ICC chairman N Srinivasan and India captain MS Dhoni mentioned.
The report has been made by a panel headed by former Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana Mukul Mudgal and also includes Sourav Ganguly.
Moreover, Srinivasan's son-in-law could find himself in more trouble as his audio tapes placing bets has been confirmed by the forensics to be his. The Supreme Court had also asked Srinivasan to step down from his role as BCCI president till the case is over.
